For me it's a toss-up between XP and 2000. 2000 was really the one that introduced home users to the NT world, and was really the first Microsoft OS to be near rock-solid. XP was built on 2000 and is also very stable, but Microsoft decided to blot it all to heck with animations, colour schemes, visual styles, and so on. Personally, I prefer the performance value, however XP has become today's standard. Not to mention that there are a few new features, as well as much better driver support over 2000. ME was laughable. Windows 98 was probably one of the best operating systems ever during its time, but that time has now passed. The future will be with XP and Vista. ____________________________ Mike -"Microsoft isn't evil, they just make really crappy operating systems" --Linus Torvalds -"Don't be Evil" --Google's motto
